I found this beautiful blue and gold macaw perched gracefully within the branches, looking as though he were simply waiting for me to take his portrait.

As I raised my camera, time seemed to slow down under the small canopy inside of the Parrot Playground at Gatorland in Orlando Florida. 

 

 His brilliant feathers caught the shifting light, turning a simple moment in nature into a breathtaking, deliberate encounter between photographer and subject—a connection beautifully captured in this fine art tropical bird photography print.
