Walking along the Hogeye Path, a sudden feeling of being watched inspired the vision behind this owl fine art photography piece.

 

I paused beneath the canopy of an ancient southern oak, looking up to discover a hidden treasure, a juvenile owlet, perfectly nestled amidst a dense cascade of vibrant green ferns and leaves. His large, brilliant yellow eyes locked onto mine with an uncanny attentiveness, his soft downy feathers betraying his tender age.

 

As I spoke softly to him, he tilted his head, reacting with a heartwarming curiosity to the sound of my voice while his sibling slept peacefully nearby. In that quiet exchange, surrounded by the protective presence of his parents close by, time stood still, leaving me spellbound by the magic of the Florida woods.
